The IT_SuperADX indicator combines three powerful modes into one, with bonus features. The easy to read histograms are easier to read than a glob of lines.
The first mode is the Standard mode. This acts like a regular ADX, with the additional Directional movement Indicators +/- signals shown, except for the fact the defaut settings are very fast.
The second mode is the Free Moolah mode, similar to the 'Free Money' ($299) indicator elsewhere (THD).
The third mode is the Harmony mode, similar to the 'Melody' ($397) indicator elsewhere (Bob Iaccino).
I think you'll agree this is a very powerful combination especially with the inclusion of the bonus DMI filter. Let's take a look.
The above chart shows the Standard mode with the DMI filter dots on and ADX rise/fall line segmants turned on.
The DMI filter dots help confirm the trend direction.
Above is the same chart with the filter dots turned off.
Here you can see the FreeMoolah mode. This mode eliminates the need for a second histogram and actually uses two different speeds. Both the histogram and the ADX line change to the same color when the ADX is over the High threshold line which some believe may be the Free Moolah zone. The zero line keeps track of the actual DI+ and DI- status of the histogram even when this occurs.
Here is the same with the ADX rising/falling line color setting turned off.
The above chart shows the third, much simpler mode called Harmony, in this case with the DMI filter dots turned on for added confirmation. This is an harmonius blend of ADX and DI +/- indicators which clearly shows strength and direction.
Here you see a sample of the settings and if you click on the image you will see the full settings available.
A new standard mode has been added called StandardMode2. This has an easy to read histogram which more clearly shows which direction is strong.
This indicator is available in NT6.5 (lacking the ADX rising/falling line coloring) and NT7.
